Grand Canyon Cafe

This historic Grand Canyon Cafe neon sign hung outside the restaurant when it first opened in 1943. Fred Wong and his wife, Tina, purchased the cafe from Fred’s uncle and father, and ran it until 2018. New owners tried to revive the cafe after Fred and Tina’s retirement, but it wasn’t the same and the venture failed. The landmark neon sign still sits proudly above the building which is on Route 66 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

The original work was done in acrylic on canvas.

Canvas Giclee print is printed on archival cotton/polyester blend canvas, hand sprayed with a satin UV coating and stretched on 1-1/2″ stretcher bars. Each canvas is signed and numbered on the back.
